- Sourdough bread
- chicken breasts
- basil pesto
- tomato
- mozzarella
- butter
- garlic powder
- Salt
- pepper
Directions
- Pesto: for pesto recipes click here
- Pound out chicken breasts to make evenly thick
- season with salt and pepper, grill or pan-fry
- spread pesto on 2 pieces of sourdough bread
- add mozzarella slices and tomato slices
- add chicken breast
- butter the top and bottom of your bread add garlic powder
- grill both sides in a pan till golden brown or use a panini press
- let sandwich cool a bit then cut the sandwich in half
- ENJOY!
